Sunny days call for bright shades!

Well it’s another gorgeous 80+ degree day in Chicagoland!  And what better color in the Pantone-inspired Spring Color Challenge than a bright yellow, or the “official name” lemon zest!  I had grand plans to style an adorable yellow blazer I picked up from Goodwill for a whopping $4.99, but it is in the laundry (I just had to wash it before I wore it!)  That blazer will make its debut soon though!

Instead, I opted for this tweed skirt from Target (mainly because it was 70% off and I got it for under $7- woo hoo!).  It has a neon yellow in it which gives it more of a pop than a neutral tweed skirt.  (Also worn here.)

I wore this look a few weeks ago (when it was colder) and tried it with boots- which do you think works best with this outfit?  Wedges or boots?

Sweater: Gap Outlet

And in case you missed my previous looks from the week, here they are!  Which one is your fave?

  1. I agree with the above commenters that the wedges look best! My favorite look of the week has to be the green blazer. That may just be because green is my favorite color!

  2. I have the jacket that matches that skirt, that I got for 50% off! It’s one of my fav pieces, haha! Been looking for the skirt but can never find it in my size. I like the wedges better with bare legs, but the boots with black tights will be super chic in fall!

  5. You’re wearing my spring color crush, bright yellow. Love this with blue. So pretty! Thanks for linking up this week!
